Urizen
Without any doubt Urizen is the most powerful of the spirits which rule in the Shadow of Britain, and is the only one remaining of a great pantheon of spirits who represented the essential soul of Britain. The others have vanished - Los, an Incarna of creation, Enitharmon, a spirit of compassion and Orc, who was chaos and rebellion against Urizen’s divine order - not seen since the 1970s and 80s. Urizen, unchecked and without opposition, is cold progress, unyielding order and progress at the expense of compassion and humanity. He has the appearance of God, an ancient and powerful man with a great bristling snow-white beard. His power is vast and is dedicated to the rule of law but the ancient rule - he cannot be reasoned with or gainsaid, any who oppose him or who fall afoul of the ancient and inflexible iron laws must be cleansed with fire and wrath.
