Howls across Britain; The Witching Hour
- I sing of the Witching Hour
- Strange watchers in the blackest night
- Blessed pack of an ancient wisdom
- On our most fearsome foe kept their sight
- Thunder rolled and lightening clashed
- Whilst blood soaked red into the field
- So many torn, battered and lost
- But still Uratha do not yield.
- Witness to the Harvester's defeat
- As the Suthar Anzuth bound its fate
- Silent duty pledged, forever vigilant
- In case of it's return they would wait.
- Thirty-six years to the day go by
- The enemy stirs, it's bindings for to shake
- Idigam shard into Uratha was bound
- Sleeping destruction now tries to awake.
- Now five watchers are faced with a choice
- To save the People the host must die
- One Oath to break, this blood to spill
- But with dire need they now must try.
- Four of five stand forth in resolve
- One flees, unwilling to take this life
- In silent approach, as one they leap
- Claws and fangs to end this strife.
- An eye blinks, their prey whirls
- A blur of fur and claws and death
- The Cahalith dances to the Idigam's beat
- And takes from each their dying breath.
- Silent pause, the world gone still as now they lie
- Victims of an enemy defeated, not gone
- Remember their sacrifice, remember their strength
- Or in following them we won't be long.
- I sing of the Witching Hour
- Strange watchers in the blackest night
- Blessed pack of an ancient wisdom
- On our most fearsome foe kept their sight
THE FINAL WITCHING HOUR
This is an important tale of happenings within the lifespan of the UK Chronical. This should be something which allows players to gather the basic outline of the deed allowing it to be remembered and told IC, that details will be different from telling to telling does not matter overmuch as these tales are remembered and told in the oral tradition and often the pure truth is simply not known.
- Hero/Villain: Sheena McLetchie (called Ragna) and the Pack of the Witching Hour are both heroes and villains. The Witching Hour fought against the Harvester and recognised some part of their old foe in Ragna. When they turned on her she turned on them, striking them all down.
- Setting: During the Harvest Festival and remembrance for those who fell destroying the Harvester, 2005.
- Events: Ragna was attacked by the Witching Hour, who were (in turn) destroyed by the Blood Talons claws. The bodies fell quickly as a spark of the Idigam trapped, somehow, within Ragna destroyed them.
- Moral: Not all truths are as they seem (cunning), all prices must be paid (honour), some deeds must be done regardless of the price (glory).
