A group of eccentric academic types, the Roots of Ancient Wisdom arrived in Essex, following months of travel, on the night of the first meeting of the Essex Uratha. Staking a claim to territory in the area, the Roots have found a place for their patron and themselves to call home. Maintaining more interest in the Hisil than the real world, the Bone Shadow followers of Makua-Makithae and their Iminir alpha keep good relations with the other werewolves of Essex, often offering their wisdom and advice to the younger Uratha.
