The tale of “One Who Is Mighty

An Uratha like none other. Strength, Courage and Honour was in his every dead. Spirits spoke his name with adoration and awe. He was strong; he is “One Who Is Mighty

His deeds were many and Mother Luna’s face smiled upon him. Broods of Spinner Hags fell back from his fury. No Beshilu could escape his claws, no matter where they hid. Entire courts swore allegiance to his might.

But the mighty eventually fall. In the beginning his deeds were noble but years later the praise that he received further swelled his ego and pride. He had forsaken his pack and hunted alone. His rage overcame him and he slaughtered many noble spirits and Uratha as well as those who were to be hunted. His rage had clouded his judgement. Soon spirits fled is presence in fear, those courts that were his allies turned their backs against him. He found it difficult to interact with either worlds and was eventually overcome by madness. It was evident he would look for sustenance elsewhere, consuming the flesh of human and Uratha alike.

His former brother and allies hunted him down and confronted him for his ways. On that night Luna did not smile, she hid her face for she was aware of the event about to transpire. “One Who Is Mighty” was different that night. It became apparent that the consuming of flesh of Mother Luna’s own wasn’t his only crime. He had aligned himself with terrible spirits of an evil nature. Spirits that infused him with their essence making him a terrible foe indeed for those that stayed true to the Oaths of the Forsaken.

The battle was epic and the casualties were grave. None survived that night. It is said that “One Who Is Mighty” was dealt the final blow by the alpha of his old pack, even as his last breath of life escaped him.

We all must remember the mighty for their deeds but in turn we must remember and learn from those whose deeds speak ill of them. It is from this we learn. From this we understand why we are forsaken. Why Mother Luna has Forsaken us. Why the Oaths of the Moon exist.

We must speak of our deeds and remember!
