Numen

These are new Numen created by players and STs and sanctioned for use in the Camarilla UK.

Legion

The Legion Numen works very similarly to Possession but can be used against a group of targets rather than a single person. Spend one Essence and one Willpower and roll Power + Finesse in a contested roll versus the highest Resolve + Composure in its target group. If the spirit wins, then for each success scored in this roll the spirit is able to take control of one member of the group, to a maximum of its Power, for a single scene. At the end of that scene the spirit may choose to use this Numen again.

Use the victim’s available traits (except Willpower points) and dice pools for any action the spirit wishes to take, however each of its victims will suffer a temporary -1 penalty to their Intelligence and Wits to represent the difficulty in directly controlling more than one body. If this causes either stat to become 0 that body is unable to do anything other than sit and drool. If the mortal wins or ties the roll, the spirit fails its possession attempt. As long as the spirit has Essence remaining, it can continue to make possession attempts, even if it is possessing a group of targets already. It will suffer a penalty to this roll equal to the number of individuals already possessed. These are the only exception to the normal Spirit Thief rules found on P284 of the core book.

If a possessed body is killed or knocked unconscious, the spirit is forced out of that person taking Corpus damage equal to the attack which forces it from that vessel.

Sinful Caress

This Numen works by overwhelming the good sense of a target and inflaming them with a vice aligned to the spirit using it (one only). Spend one Essence and roll Finesse + Finesse resisted by the targets Resolve + Composure + Primal Urge. If the spirit wins then the targets Vice is immediately changed to that of the spirit and is considered to be active – taking 2 Willpower to resist. The Vice is changed for one day for each success the spirit achieved, with a day being considered to start and end at dawn.
