Part 3: Description of Venue
THEME
The first Theme of London is one of Loss and Rebirth. The Local Uratha have just had a bloody Civil War and virtually all of the Uratha died. A lot of the History has been lost as well as a lot of the old Stories haven’t been passed on. This means that there is a lot for the players to re-learn. The Second Theme is of a City under siege. London fell to infighting and in the aftermath who knows what has crept in. The Uratha used to be one of the strongest forces within London and now they are a handful of scattered packs, can they regain the strength they once had or will they be swallowed by what lives in the Darkness.
The plots will consist of a lot of investigation but there will also be plenty of enemies to fight and I am completely open to players who want to go off the beaten track.
HISTORY
London was controlled by the Winter Kings, a family of Storm Lords for the last 600 hundred years. They controlled the most powerful Locus and were the strongest Pack. Over the years they had spawned many other packs and had family members in other packs. This Web of allies, became known as the Winter Alliance. When the last Winter King died in 1995 there were 2 claimants for the throne and this led eventually to Civil War, what became known as the Winter War. In this 3 day conflict the Uratha of London shattered the Winter Alliance and almost all of the Uratha of London died.
Part 4: Storyteller Information
- Storytelling Mechanics – Game Forsaken uses White Wolf’s Werewolf: the Forsaken and The Camarilla’s Fan Club Rules Addendum to Werewolf: the Forsaken with the below alterations. In some cases, the below is just a restatement of policy and existing rules within The Camarilla.
- Proxy Rules - As per The Camarilla Rules Addendum.
- Character Restrictions – There are no character restrictions, historically all the Tribes have had some influence on the territories of London. The City used to be a Storm Lord Stronghold but that has changed.
- Downtime Scenes – I prefer to have any Downtimes at least a week before the next game, preferably by email or written and given to me. I am usually at most of the other London run Cam games and am willing to chat about Forsaken. I do take Downtimes before the game but they will probably not have as much impact as others given to me before hand.
- Travel Risks – London has used to have a VERY Strong Uratha presence and so the Hisil was fairly organised. That has changed, there was only 1 pack to patrol the entirety of London and so the Hisil has warped and changed, becoming Wild. The East End of London is especially bad, some say that is close to being a Shallow or a Wound.
- Visiting character/plot policy – The IC Meeting place is usually the Hall of the Winter King, the main Tur of London for the last 600 years, most Uratha have heard of it and can find it. Travel into London is fine, well as long as you don’t try to cross it in the Hisil.
- Attendance and Downtimes - As per the Camarilla Addendum.
- Roleplaying a Flaw - As per the Camarilla Addendum.
- Roleplaying a Derangement - As per the Camarilla Addendum.
