The Harvester; Cultivator of the Slain
Summery of the characters life, deeds, personality and so on, this should be ideally a single paragraph and no more than three – this is a snapshot of a character whose history is recorded through oral tradition rather than written word so the details will vary from place to place but the core will remain.
In 1969 3 great spirits came to the UK and brought pain and terror with them – these were the Idigam. This is the tale of one of these three – the one known as the Havester. The Harvester (or sometimes Spirit of the Last Harvest) was a horrific insect-like creature who ranged around the borders of Scotland and England, first being spotted at Netherwood. Though the survivors generally didn’t like to talk about it, those who fell fighting it, rose again on it's side. It was eventually killed by a pack of Blood Talons, named "None Given, None Taken" whose Alpha "Stands-First", a Rahu Blood Talon, died in the battle which is known as the Battle of Last Harvest which took place in early November at Dykeshead.
STORY
This is the most important story of the character, or at least the bare outline of it. This should be something which allows players to gather the basic outline of the tale allowing it to be remembered and told IC, that details will be different from telling to telling does not matter these tales are remembered and told in the oral tradition and often the pure truth is simply not known.
- Hero/Villain: The Harvester is the villain, the Tribes of the Moon and their spirit allies are the heroes.
- Setting: Across the Borders of Scotland and England (on both sides of the Hisil), the finale taking place at Dykeshead.
- Events: After weeks of constant fighting the Harvester (and its growing army of raised-again animated dead wolfmen) the all Blood-Talon pack “None Given, None Taken” left the gathered Uratha under cover of a huge storm and faced the Harvester. When they returned the Alpha, Stands-First, and the majority of the pack were slain, but the Harvester was no more.
- Moral: Sometimes the Forsaken must stand together to face threats, or face enormous losses.
