An old court of spirits, birthed on the dreams of animals, made strong on those of man. Not enormous in numbers, but with many members, this is another court whose internal politics are often thought to be vicious and deadly. Certain Elodoth have suggested that this is not one single court, but is instead a collection of smaller courts – perhaps calling it the Parliament of Passions would be more correct.

The bulk of the Court of Urges are Gafflings, and mainly conceptual spirits too. There are spirits of Love, Lust, Loathing, spirits of Dread, Doom, Danger, spirits of Excitement, Enjoyment, and Entertainment. Everything and anything can claim membership of this court – some spirits of murder claim more in common with spirits in this court than with those of the Court of Teeth. Similarly spirits of Fear may be as easily found within the Court of Smog or Court of Teeth as within the Court of Urges.

The greater spirits within the court often play some form of exotic and subtle game, described by one Cahalith as “the gentle dance of emotions”. Gentle and slow, perhaps, but the more powerful spirits of this court are as dangerous and predatory as any other, no matter if they be a Jaggling of Greed, or a Jaggling of Happiness.
