Enemies of the People
Bound-in-Flames
- Tribe: Fire Touched
- Packs: The Flame-bound/the Bound-in-Flames/those Bound By Flames (varies)
This charismatic talker became a hate-fueled rabblerouser who was instrumental in the unity of dozens of Packs of Pure into a small army. The Crusade he led swept some parts of the country entirely clean of the Tribes of the Moon, in some cases there are still no Moon Tribes there decades later. It is thought that Bound-in-Flames was originally of the Moon Tribes, and was convinced that through their actions they had cursed themselves, though there is some debate still as to which tribe he was a member of. The majority believe that he was originally of the Blood Talons, though there is some evidence to suggest that he was of the Hunters-in-Darkness, some few suggest he was a Storm Lord before his fall (and that he demanded to be accepted into the Ivory Talons, it is certain that few of his Crusade were of that tribe, though most of them were thought to be fallen Moon Tribes turned cruelly, fanatically penitent.
- Hero/Villain: Bound-in-Flames is the main protagonist, a crusade of Pure Tribes (mainly Fire Touched who came from the Moon Tribes) and the Moon Tribes they fight against are the rest of the cast. A pack of Irraka named simply "Peoples Vengeance" are the protagonists in the tale of Bound-in-Flames Death.
- Setting: Throughout Great Britain, though mainly sticking to the more heavily inhabited areas, as well as the few large areas of untarnished countryside not claimed by the Predator Kings.
- Events: Bound-in-Flames takes assorted packs and small hunting parties of the Pure Tribes and forges them into a mighty Crusade, turning their strength on pack after pack, territory after territory. Pack Totems (and other allied spirits) are consumed by their terrifying twisted spirit allies, Uratha are either slain or converted to following Rabid Wolf, those who are captured but who refuse to turn their backs on Luna are tortured to death and then burnt alive - being served to their former packmates in a macabre ritual feast. The Pack of the Peoples Vengeance stole into the heart of the Flame-bound's camp, supposidly destroying Bound-in-Flames but were in turn slain to a man.
- Moral: Sometimes sacrifice of both morals and of life are the only option, a lesser evil is an evil, but there is not always a better path (Honour/Glory)
