Arnemetia; the Goddess of the Grove; Court of Urges; Court of the Elements
Arnemetia is an ancient, and fairly powerful, spirit of water and wisdom and healing, native to Buxton she doesn’t see any need to travel much – her spring gives her all she needs, and she likes flowers. She tends to appear as a Roman, Romano-British or Celtic-British woman dressed in neutral tones or blues, and often surrounded by, or decorated with, flowers. Whilst she has a place in the Choir of Ice (part of the Court of the Elements) along with the Court of Urges she pays little attention to the politics and has few followers of her own. She does keep an eye on her rivals, especially those who challenge her for the Locus, which is hers (the spring).
She can normally be found around the spring, in the Other, and with a suitable entrance and greeting, manners and respect, an offering of flowers (a local tradition is to give flowers to the spring, in rememberance of the spirit) and, ideally, an offering of essence she’ll agree to talk with visitors - though will not allow them access to what is hers.
