PROJECTS:
These are projects which need to be written or completed, if you fancy having a go or lending a hand please get in touch. There is some cross-over with the Documents section.- Laws of the People: common laws of the People of Great Britain, including interpretations of the Oath of the Moon.
- Tales of the People: A collection of IC stories, including Talekits and full Tales of PCs, NPCs, events and doings both in game and historical. Generally I'm writing these up as events or plots bring them into the fore. VSTs are encouraged to create some for their own games/histories in order that the People of Britain have a history to draw on IC.
- Book of Broods: an expansion from the Shadows of the UK 'religious text' of the Beshilu – will be basing a ‘how to’ document around using Beshilu in the UK on this (and on SotUK).
- Forsaken Britain: (was Territories of Great Britain) a short guide to Great Britain, a page (or so) on each county/borough/province and major city/site as a guide for players and STs. This is ongoing though has had some good results so far (see Edinburgh), really need to get VSTs to write something for their game – doesn't need to be in any depth! This is a continued roll-out as places become important for settings or plot, open to anyone getting involved with!
- Big-Spirits: Have the okay to get the Incarnae in Shadows of the UK written up and given to Tim Edwards (UKNST) to be signed out/interacted with. I need help getting these properly written up – any offers?
- Starter Characters: Created as MC1, these are fairly basic (concept) characters who can be given a twist and a goal or two, to allow new players to come in and get a taste of the game from day one – with a ready made reason to be there, and something to do. Designed primarily for convention play they’ll be made available to VSTs for new players.
- Lodges: After suggestion from Phil Hyde I plan on getting ‘lodge kits’ prepared for some of the more major lodges which don’t have many/any PC members – and would love for some people to do them for me. Each is a basic NPC to go into the national folder, who’ll visit areas looking for folks who’re a good match for core Lodges which have little UK presence (Lodge of Night, Lodge of Harmony, Lodge of Metal, etc) and give a route for PCs to enter them. If you’re interested, and fancy some national prestige, give me a shout!
- NPC Creation: A trio of projects in one; to create MC1 "convention" or starter NPCs with simple backgrounds and goals to let people try Forsaken and get stuck straight in; to create "mentor" type NPCs to allow PCs to join the more common Lodges; to create packs/groups of antagonists (Pure, Ghost Wolves, Beshilu, etc). See NPC Creation for more detail.
